If you’re just not a pie person (and there’s nothing wrong with that) or you simply do not have the time to make one (anyone who says baking a pie is fast is a liar) may I present to you this low effort but luxurious bread pudding. It can be prepared days in advance and sit in your fridge until you need to bake it. The croissants can be procured a number of ways: a value pack from the grocery store bread aisle will still produce buttery soft deliciousness, but if you live near a bakery or coffee shop it would be really smart to walk in end of day and see if they’ll give you a little deal on a dozen left over croissants. However you play it this bread pudding is quite literally perfect and of all the times I’ve served it people rave and pick at it until there’s not even a crumb left.
