Hi if you didn’t already know: it’s finally peak stone fruit season !!!!! Today has been a great day (and it’s only noon!) for two reasons — I got my bike fixed and then rode to the fruit market (Carnival on church and E second st, iykyk) and bought 2 lbs of yellow peaches for like $5. My absolute favorite thing to make with ripe peaches is jam — it’s one of those things that just tastes almost too good to be true. This recipe is for a low sugar jam, to really let the summer sweetness of ripe peaches shine. I can’t even tell you how magical this stuff is with a bowl of yogurt, or sandwiched between some cake layers if you’re trying to be fancy :-)
